About

Taushif Tanim

I'm an AI engineer and product strategist. Most of my work sits in one place: agentic systems — agents, retrieval, orchestration, memory, model routing, tool execution — and everything required to make them survive contact with real users. That means the retrieval layer and the Postgres schema under it, the Kubernetes cluster it runs on, and the business model that has to justify the token spend.

I started in real-time C++ and ImGui systems, rendering overlays where a wrong assumption crashed the frame rather than logging a warning. That's still how I approach software: understand the system underneath, keep it controllable, and design for the failure case rather than the demo.

Right now I'm architecting a model-independent AI agent operating system — one runtime coordinating models, specialist agents, tools, memory, workflows, knowledge, sandboxes, policy controls, and human approval. Alongside it: Languence, an AI language-learning platform I cofounded and build full-stack, and the editorial, peer-review, submission, and publishing infrastructure behind The ICPK and IJSPE.

I work the same loop every time — analyze the problem, architect the system, validate the model, then build the infrastructure. I'd rather ship something that holds up over years than something fast that needs rebuilding in six months.

The rest of my reading is human behavior, education systems, and how knowledge gets published and distributed. That's most of why the language-learning work and the academic-publishing work both exist.

What guides the work

  • Understand the system underneath before touching the layer on top.
  • Design for the failure case, not the demo.
  • Own the strategy, the build, and the infrastructure — no hand-offs to blame.

Experience

Everything on the homepage timeline, in full — the ventures, the hobby projects, and the ones still just an idea.

Hobby

Client frontend & WordPress work

Freelance builds for real clients — frontend interfaces and WordPress sites, delivered on request and on deadline. Unbranded and informal, but it settled the only question that mattered at that stage: people will pay for this.

Ongoing

The ICPK

The oldest ongoing commitment here. Cofounder, running both the technical build and the marketing: editorial, peer-review, and submission systems designed around how academic review actually works — multi-role permissions, blind review, versioned manuscripts, and editors who need the system to be obvious rather than clever.

Origin

Micro Mod

A C++ project rendering real-time ImGui overlays on mobile games. Native compilation, rendering pipelines, and memory that had to be managed rather than assumed — where a wrong assumption dropped frames instead of logging a warning. It's still the reason I start by understanding the system underneath before touching the layer on top.

Ongoing

Languence

Cofounder and full-stack builder. The conversation partner that has to hold context across sessions, the adaptive path engine that has to notice a learner plateauing, and the product thinking behind both — plus the unglamorous half: keeping per-turn cost and latency low enough that the product still works at scale.

Past

DIU Microcredentials Academy

A student-associate role at Daffodil International University's Microcredentials Academy: graphics design, admin documentation, and infrastructure advisory on their Laravel platform — an advisory seat rather than a commit bit, which is its own lesson in influencing a system you don't own.

Ongoing

IJSPE

The ICPK's affiliated policy journal, running its own editorial and peer-review infrastructure — built separately from the parent organization's systems, held to the same standard, sharing the architecture without sharing the failure modes.

Dormant

The Fix Net

A tech-news platform taken from idea to production and still online today. Paused on purpose while higher-leverage work takes the hours — knowing what to stop is part of the job.

Ongoing

Top Forex Brokers Review

A WordPress financial-review site rebuilt on Next.js without surrendering its search position — the migration, the SEO continuity work, the infrastructure, and the server-level DevOps keeping it running. Rankings are the hard part of a rebuild; nothing else matters if the traffic doesn't survive the move.

Ongoing

Smart AI Library

Cofounder and technical lead on an editorial platform covering AI — research, tooling, and systems, from foundations to what shipped last week. Product, engineering, and infrastructure handled directly, with a dedicated cofounder on SEO. Publishing about AI systems is also what keeps me honest about building them.

Early stage

Axmion

The current architectural focus: one runtime coordinating models, specialist agents, tools, memory, workflows, knowledge, sandboxes, policy controls, and human approval — model-independent by design, so the system outlives whichever provider is ahead this quarter. Early on purpose, because this is the layer that's expensive to get wrong.

Exploring

Galiw

An idea for AI infrastructure and SaaS tooling, still being pressure-tested before it earns any engineering time. Here because the validation step is real work, not because it's a project yet.
